Describe symbolism in A Thousand Clowns by Herb Gardner

Two important symbols in the play are the statues, Bubbles and Chuckles. Bubbles symbolizes reality.... Nick and Murray's healthy.... happy relationship. Chuckles, on the other hand, represents Leo's empty life.
