Ser Jorah Mormont from A Storm of Swords is the son of Lord Commander Mormont of the Night's Watch. He is currently serving Daenerys Targaryen in her quest to regain the throne. However, he has been hired by Varys to keep an eye on Daenerys and to report her movements and activities. When Daenerys finds out she is furious and banishes Ser Jorah from her side. This wounds him deeply as he has given up spying for Varys. He's in love with Daenerys.
