Ser Edmure Tully from A Storm of Swords is Catelyn Stark's younger brother. He is the heir to RiverRun. He is impulsive and doesn't think ahead. This is evidenced when he disobey's Robb's wishes and rides out to confront Tywin Lannister's forces. He is promised to marry Roslin Frey at the Twins, but after the ceremony and they've gone to the nuptual bedroom, all of the guests (including his sister and nephew, Robb Stark) are brutally murdered. Later, Edmure is held hostage at the Twins.
