When Rosalie comes to fit Jane for her riding suit, Marie and Louise show her the house. Rosalie goes into her dead aunt's room, and inspects it. She notices the bed with the white and pink roses embroidered on the duvet and a doll resting on the pillow. She notices the vanity, the books, and the child's Bible.
