A Long Walk to Water: Based on a True Story

How does having two points of views (narrators) in A Long Walk To Water impact the reader?

I'm stuck on this too

You basically get two points of view. One is from a Nya, an eleven-year-old girl, and one is from Salva who is also eleven. Salva is clearly the main protagonist of the story. The two narratives give the story different details that add context to the themes. They work as separate points of view until they come together at the end.
