Why is the Misfit right in the book A Good Man is Hard to Find?

He is agreeing with the grandmother that a good man is hard to find...because no one is all good, nor all bad. Finding a truly all-good person is an impossible feat. He reiterates this point at the end after he kills her by saying that she'd been a great woman if someone had only been there to shoot her every day. In other words, she was only a good person and a good woman when she was faced with death.
