What is the theme of A Doll's House?

One of the major themes is that things are not as they appear. Nora 'appears' to be the perfect wife, but in reality, she is not. They also appear to have the 'perfect' marriage...but they do not. Along with that is the strong theme of the sacrifices that women had to make at the expense of their own well being.
