Quote what Scrooge says to the charity collectors that will come back to haunt him later in the play.

Scrooge pointedly asks the charity men why he should give to children in need:

“Are there no prisons? ...Are there no workhouses?”

The ghost of Christmas present reminds Scrooge of what he said in Stave 3 when Scrooge asks if the poor children have no resources.
