In A Christmas Carol, who is Mr. Fezziwig and how is he important to Scrooge?

Mr. Fezziwig, in A Christmas Carol, was Scrooge's former employer. He's important because he reminds Scrooge of what a good employer acts like. He realizes that an employer has the power to make the work light or heavy as far as work environments are concerned. It makes him realize just how badly he treats Bob, his own employee.
