Who is Fuka-Eri from 1Q84 and what is their importance?

Fuka-Eri is the seventeen-year-old author of the story, Air Chrysalis. Tengo rewrited her story, and as a result is plunged into the world of 1Q84. She is described as a beautiful girl with tremendous emotional and philosophical depth. Brought up in the Sakigake religious cult, Fuka-Eri experienced firsthand the twisted realities of the Little People. She was raped by her father, an event that prompted her to run away and write about the Little People, exposing their power, and creating a counterbalance against them.
