Daily Lessons

This section contains 30 daily lessons. Each one has a specific objective and offers at least three (often more) ways to teach that objective. Objective: Anne, September, 1945 Students will understand the social and economic situation that women in this era experienced as they read about Anne Welles' journey to New York. Students will make connections with the text and history. This objective is occurring in the beginning of the book because it will provide background information for the students and help them better understand the situations in the novel.
