Objective: Chapter 1 The Yellow Admiral is a fictional narrative by the British author Patrick O'Brien. The novel is the eighteenth in the Aubrey-Maturin series, a series of nautical historical novels set during the Napoleonic Wars and centering on the friendship between Captain Jack Aubrey of the Royal Navy and his ship's surgeon Stephen Maturin.
