1.) Class Activity: Create a list of adjectives that you believe define a "good" parent. Do you think either of Stephen's parents exhibit these characteristics?

2.) Class Activity: Compare the relationship Stephen has with her mother to the relationship she has with her father.

3.) Class Debate: Do you think Stephen's father has her best interest in mind by keeping the information he has learned about her from her mother?
