Character Descriptions

Characters

Augie March - This character is described as having a black mass of hair and cleft chin, is adept at lying, and gets a big break in life when hired to work for a crippled tycoon.

Simon March - This character is described as a Germanic-looking blond, with large cheekbones, and wide gray eyes who marries an older, rich spouse to gain power in life.

Grandma Lausch - This character is an elderly, widowed Russian Jew who rules the household reigning as Jesuitical, full of guile and malice, and impossible to satisfy.
