Fun Classroom Activities

The 20 enjoyable, interactive classroom activities that are included will help your students understand the text in amusing ways. Fun Classroom Activities include group projects, games, critical thinking activities, brainstorming sessions, writing poems, drawing or sketching, and more that will allow your students to interact with each other, be creative, and ultimately grasp key concepts from the text by "doing" rather than simply studying.

1. Character Match

Assign students different characters from the play, but only give this information to other students. Have the students asks other students questions in order to figure out which character has been assigned to them.

Create a crossword puzzle with clues from the play. Have students fill the crossword puzzle out.

Stage the play. Assign students to different roles in the play or roles to support the play.
