Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Southern Montana - This place is where the subject of the book spent her life.
The Missouri River - This place was occupied by the Crow during several seasons.
The Montana Plains - This area was roamed upon from year to year by the Crow Indian tribe.
The Village - This place was moved from place to place throughout the year and was the area where the Crow tribe lived.
The Agency - This is where the Crow capital is.
The-beyond-country - This is another name for heaven, according to Pretty-shield.
