Objective

Objective: Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 ALICE - In this chapter, the reader is introduced to Alice, the protagonist of the novel, and is given insight into her various relationships. The objective of this lesson is for students to explore the character of Alice based on their first impressions of her, and to discuss the way that Alice's relationships may become central in the themes of this novel.
