Instructions: Prepare a page with words scattered throughout, using different fonts and size print. Have the students draw arrows between any of the words that are linked in some way. On the line of the arrow have the students write what that link is. Use any of the following words:

Rat: Bigger killed rat; Buddy helped chase the rat; Mrs. Thomas and Vera were afraid of the rat
