The only thing Katniss finds still standing in District 12 is the Victor's Village.

Katniss finds in her house at the Victor's Village her sister's cat, Buttercup. Buttercup has never really liked Katniss because she once threatened to kill him out of a fear of being unable to feed him adequately. However, Buttercup goes with Katniss when she mentions her sister's name, whom Buttercup loves deeply.
