In this lesson, students are introduced to the book and will research and discuss authors Marcus Luttrell and Patrick Robinson.

1) Teacher Lecture: Introduce the students to the book and author. "Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10" is a nonfiction account of Marcus Luttrell's experiences during Operation Redwing and his escape with the help of the tribesmen of a Pashtun village.
