Character Description.

Write a physical, emotional, and relational description of three of the following characters from KING RAT: Marlowe, The King, Lt. Grey, Max, Major Berry, Col. Smedly-Taylor, Cheng or Yoshima. Add a portrait to go along with your written description.

Posters.

Create three posters about KING RAT using a variety of media (chalk, paint, markers, watercolors, etc.). These posters might be used to advertise the book's release.

TV Reporter.

Pretend you are a TV reporter and provide an on-scene video from one of the major events in KING RAT Possible events: Marlowe and the King's foray into the village; Marlowe and the King being chased after the ring transaction; Lt. Grey's discovery of the altered weights; Devon being taken away to Ultram or liberation of the camp.
