Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
Croisset - This place, formerly home to an author, is now a museum.
Rouen - This town is visited several times by the narrator of the story.
The Hotel-Dieu - This is a former hospital now serving as a museum.
Loulou - This is the name of a parrot.
The Museum of Natural History - This is the museum which originally lent a parrot.
Mantes - This is the place where two characters met to carry on their affair.
