Objective

Objective: Five friends make a vow to meet up again at the Inn and discuss what they had learned of the evil overtaking their land. The objective of this lesson is to gain a better understanding of the vow they had taken and what it meant to each of them.

1) Have each student define the word "vow" and "oath" in the dictionary. Write out the dictionary definitions and then write three sentences, one to define, one used in proper context as it pertains to the story, and one in common conversation. Share the three sentences with the rest of the class.
