When readers characterize a character, they look at the character's ideas, actions and other characters' reactions to them to discover more about the character. To characterize Henry Temple, we should look at instances that could explain his character to us. What instances have we seen his involvement? Possible instances include:

c) Lives cheaply until his debt is paid.
