Essay Topics

Write an essay for ONE of the following topics:

Essay Topic 1

Discuss how the media has changed drastically regarding wars and protests since Kovic's first foray into the limelight. Do you think media coverage today is more or less accurate than it was in the 1970s? Do you think there is more or less coverage? Is coverage more or less biased?

Collect information about the Republican National Convention. What is it? What is its purpose? When and where is it held? How is the Convention featured in the story? What is Kovic's opinion of the Convention? What is your opinion?
