Fun Classroom Activities

The 20 enjoyable, interactive classroom activities that are included will help your students understand the text in amusing ways. Fun Classroom Activities include group projects, games, critical thinking activities, brainstorming sessions, writing poems, drawing or sketching, and more that will allow your students to interact with each other, be creative, and ultimately grasp key concepts from the text by "doing" rather than simply studying.

Tell who you would like to have been in a past life and why.

2. Time Line

Create a timeline, including illustrations, of the events from Avalon High. Have the time line branch off into the different locations in Avalon High.

3. Comparison

Read another Meg Cabot book and write a comparison and contrast between it and Avalon High.

4. Posters

Create three posters about Avalon High using a variety of media (chalk, paint, markers, watercolors, etc..).
