Changing History

When most people think of history, they think of something that has already been determined in the past. History cannot be changed, and everything is set before we are even born. This is the way many people look at history. In The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the characters, writers, and director explore the idea of changing history.

Both the Terminator and the T-1000 are returning from the future so that they can try to change the course of history both for good and for evil. Additionally, Sarah and John are trying to keep the future from actually happening.
