The Industrial Revolution

Summary: The Industrial Revolution had an immense impact on life when it fist began in the eighteenth century, and still continues to have one as people continue to perfect the basics provided by it.
The Industrial Revolution has aided society as a whole since it started in the eighteenth century. Railroads and telegraphs were developed, decreasing travel time for people to travel cross-country as well as the time to deliver mail. Also, a higher demand for goods required new factories to produce those goods. More and newer factories, in turn, created more opportunities for jobs. Wages also rose, allowing families to have more than just the bare necessities, like food, water, shelter, etc. They would now be able to spend on small frivolities, such as buying a newspaper. The material benefits developed in the Industrial Revolution proved to be helpful to many people.

The invention of the railroad provided for a more exceptional means of transportation for people and for the distribution of products. Because railroads did not have to follow the course of a river, tracks could go where rivers did...
