Today people are so fascinated with electronics and rely on computers to complete daily tasks instead of doing things "the old fashioned way" or manually. In Fahrenheit 451, Mildred and the rest of society represent the way our society believes and thinks. People in today's society who try to do daily tasks with their logic and do not depend on electronics is represented by Montag and Faber. Although modern technology is very useful in today's society, we depend on it to much.
