Leonardo da Vinci's real name was "Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci", which means "Leonardo, son of Piero, from Vinci." Leonardo da Vinci was one of the greatest artists to ever live. He was born in April 15, 1452 in the small town of Vinci, the legitimate son of Master Piero, and companion Caterina. Leonardo da Vinci didn't really have a home. He travelled across Italy and France. The places Leonardo da Vinci worked were Rome, Vinci, Florence, France and Milan. Leonardo da Vinci was one of the powerful men of his time. His military ideas led him to many new places. His death, however, was a tragedy. Leonardo da Vinci died on May 2, 1519 at France. He was buried in the palace church. However, the church...
