Summary: Many factors contributed to the outbreak of World War II. Among the most significant factors were the Treaty of Versailles, the appeasement policy practiced in the 1930s by Britain and France in the wake of a growing Nazi Germany, and the inability of the League of Nations to keep the peace worldwide.
The Causes of the Infamous

Second World War

There were many factors that contributed to the outbreak of the Second

World War including the Treaty of Versailles, the appeasement in Europe and the

many disputes between the League of Nations. These factors had a very large

and powerful impact on the world throughout the 1930's. Although many

Canadians did not realize these problems and disputes were happening

throughout Europe it still managed to make its mark in the late 30's.

Ever since the war ended in 1919 and Britain and France forced the

Treaty of Versailles on Germany, there has been great conflict and detest for the

countries all throughout Europe. Germany never forgave Britain and France for

the repulsive embarrassment they had to go through after their tragic loss in

World War I. Germany had to practically give up their entire country and
