Analyzes the John Grisham novel, The Firm. Explores how Grisham used the elements of literature to create an interesting perspective of the choices that can be made in the world of law.

After I found a glimmer of light when I knew we had to read a John Grisham novel. Upon seeing the dramatic twists and turns of the movies based on his novels excitement arose. Based upon my reading I felt that Grisham used the elements of literature to create an interesting perspective of the choices that can be made in the world of law.

The first major foundation laid was the setting. This some what foreshadowed to the reader that this book was not going to be a typical law drama. Initially when Mitch searched for career opportunities in New York and Boston area, that is typical for one of the best graduates of Harvard Law. By quickly having larger offers from smaller firms outside the city slowly gets the wheel.....
