Fahrenheit 451: Cause and Effect

Summary:   This essay compares the lives of the the main character Guy Montag.


In our lives we all face stepping-stones that will make or break us. The decisions that we make at these stepping-stones will be very hard and dramatic. In the story "Fahrenheit 451" authored by Ray Bradburry these decision are up to Guy Montag. Guy Montag is a man who has a lot to learn and a lot to do in this futuristic America. There are four major people in the story that changed Montag's life. Those four people where, the old lady in the burning house, Mildred, Beaty, and Clarrise a neighbor. In this paper we will break down the affects of Montag's decision and the people who affected him.
