Summary: Thoughts on slavery and some history.
Slavery was often an issue of debate in the election of 1860. Any sane person soon would come to realize that slavery was a ridiculous, unfair, and cruel selfish act. Committing to slavery would be as if you were signing your soul away to the devil himself. Slavery is wrong and unrighteous to mankind. As a result of anti-slavery, Lincoln would be your top-notch choice in selecting a candidate in the election of 1860.

Imagine being a slave, your life being pulled out from beneath you like a rug on a wet floor. Slaves have no family, for they have been torn apart from them the second they were under the ownership of another human being.
