Why Prayer Should Be in Schools

Summary: Prayer was taken out of schools in 1962. I believe it should be reinstated. A few reasons are: the us constitution protects prayer, students have to watch what they say and that's not freedom of speech.
Prayer in Public Schools

It is a subject that has been heavily debated over the years. So I thought about what prayer really is. Prayer is talking to God. Praying is our way as Christians of communicating with God. In any type of school students and staff should have the freedom of religion. In this paper I will be discussing why I believe prayer should be allowed in public schools.

When I pray I know God hears me and in Psalms 4:3, in the Bible, it says, ¡§But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear me when I call unto him.¡¨ So prayer is our means of communication with God.
