Summary: A brief overview of the foods that are unique to Israel, including falafel, tahini, and knishes. Even though they constantly deal with ongoing war and fighting, Israelis are still capable of creating great food dishes.
Israel

Israel is located in the Middle East, right next to the Mediterranean Sea. It is approximately the size of New Jersey and has a population 6,276,883 people. If you are born and live their till you are 18, you must go to the army and serve your duty for 3 years, and the women serve for 2 years. After serving your time, you must continue to go to the army once a month for every year. Ever since becoming an independent state in 1948, they have been in constant conflict with neighboring countries including Egypt, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and other power hungry countries. Even though it is a struggle for the Israelis, they still have time to eat great food and create great dishes.

Besides their constant fighting and wars, they make great food including their famous food, Falafel. In Philadelphia they have Cheese Steak stand on almost every street. This...
