Summary: A plot summary of "Crabbe" by William Bell. The novel is about an 18-year-old honors student who attempts to escape the life that he hates through a "perfect" plan.
Caught up in a world of alcoholism and no control over your own life, Franklin Crabbe has come up with the perfect solution to fix it all, or so he says. The novel is called Crabbe and is a fictional, suspense genre story written by William Bell. Throughout this journal I will be discussing and giving my personal feelings and opinions on the plot, main character, setting and atmosphere, author's style, and the theme of this novel.

Franklin Crabbe is in a hospital suffering many injuries, both mentally and physically at the time when he reads his journal on the events leading to his final destination. He has thought a lot about why he ran away from home and it is "still pretty tough to put reasons into a couple of tidy sentences" (pg. 18).
