DARE has taught me a lot about how to resist drugs, alcohol, and peer pressure these are choices that all of us will face sometime in our lives. Drugs can affect our brain and bodies horribly they can even kill us.

Drugs contain nicotine which is addictive and will never make us want to stop. And all this would happen to us if we weren't able to resist peer pressure. DARE teaches kids that they should resist these items. DARE is something that should be taught in all schools at a young age.

I have learned that tobacco can cause death, heart disease, and upper respiratory problems. I have also learned that marijuana can cause memory loss, death, and loss of reflexes. Loss of reflexes can make it so you can't compete in sports. And by far the most dangerous drug is inhalants...
