"Life as a House"

Summary: A review and summary of the movie "Life As A House." Through its portrayal of the rebuilding of two sets of relationships, the movie shows how good things can come out of bad situations.

Life as a House allows its audience to feel what each character is going through, their relationships, and their circumstances. Two relationships that stuck out in this film were Sam and his father George and Robin's husband and their two little boys. During the storyline, these relationships demonstrate how people can change. In the beginning, Sam was a very confused kid who was going through many struggles as a teenager. He wasn't a big fan of his father, in fact his father was never around. As a result, Sam felt that his father never truly cared about him. George challenges himself to change his life around after he loses his job and discovers that he is terminally ill with cancer. In an attempt to reconnect with his troubled son, George invites Sam to stay with him for the summer. His goal was to build Sam his dream house...
