Summary: In the novel Lockie Leonard Legend by Tim Winton, Lockie experiences many important changes in his life. His mother, suffering from depression, has the greatest affect on his life, as she has to stay in the hospital and Lockie is left to take responsibility of the household chores. In addition, the other changes which affect Lockie involve his personal relationships with his family and ex-girlfriend Vicki.
