Summary: Many have differing opinions on whether or not homosexual couples should be allowed to adopt a child. However, homosexuals should not be allowed to adopt children since it is not accepted by society.
Imagine the feeling a child would have one day when he realized both of his parents are the same sex. As if being an adopted child is not already difficult enough, having a homosexual couple raise a child has to be a rather difficult childhood. Some people feel that homosexuals should have the right to adopt. However, homosexuals should not be allowed to adopt children since it is not accepted by society, it is emotionally damaging for children, and the couples will never be like a father or a mother.

First of all, homosexuals should not be allowed to adopt because it is simply not accepted by society. Society views homosexuals as odd and as something strange.
