Stress and the Consumption of Alcohol

Summary: People often turn to alcohol to relieve their stress. In fact, however, alcohol provides only temporary relief and actually causes more stress for those who consume it as well as physical and emotional damage. Other methods of coping with stress that should be considered before turning to alcohol are mentioned here.
Stress often causes people mental anxiety and physical distress. It often leads to the consuming of alcohol. People tend to go to alcohol to run away from there problems and to feel free from stress. This is only a temporary feeling, but the aftermath is that it causes more problems for you. Alcohol is a depressant to your body. At the time of the effect it has on you don't have any worries but when that effect goes away they will go back to being worried and stressed.

Stress often comes from the workplace or at home. These are the places where stress is provoked. Someone in a busy schedule will most likely to experience stress more likely then someone with a more laid back one. People often think that alcohol is their solution for resolving there stress but not only are they causing them more stress, but...
