Summary: Blonde-haired women are victims of chauvinism, as society reduces them to the stereotypes of being promiscuous, unintelligent, or hedonistic solely on the basis of their hair color. Unlike sexism or racism, this type of discriminative prejudice against hair color is either laughed upon or ignored.
Its not easy being green. Green signifies being different, weird, unconventional and unorthodox. Take a look at Shrek, he was green, he was different, he was THE OTHER. He was judged by the stereotypical ideals of the dominant culture. The dominate culture of his world being the rich and beautiful, who ostracised, excluded, vilified and isolated him for being THE OTHER. Take a look at our own society. We ourselves are prejudice against a certain OTHER and we are usually totally unaware of it. THE OTHER being Blondes.
