Each company has to start from the small business unit with a group of people having an innovative idea on how to improve the product, service or market situation. It is very important to be aware of the life cycle model for the small business to survive and grow on the market with intensive competition. In this paper I will discuss the four stages of the small business life cycle: Pioneer phase, Functional phase, Integrated phase, Associated phase.
