The Threat of the Rising North Korea

Summary: Possessing nuclear weapons as well as the world's third largest military force, North Korea currently poses a threat not only to the United States, but also to Japan, South Korea, and China. Because a serious conflict with North Korea could be devastating in that region, it is important to seek diplomatic solutions and, if war should erupt, to end military conflicts quickly.
North Korea has become a world threatening nation! On February 10, 2005 North Korea had officially announced that they posses nuclear weapons. Though the US is is involved in this conflict other countries are taking part in this problem. There are many suspicions that are well supported about North Korea and its ability to launch its nuclear missiles. Japan, China, and South Korea are also involved in this conflict. Though NOrth Korea is a dangerous country, there is much more to this story than you could think.

North Korea has the worlds third largest military. This military consists of about 1,000,000. This baffles many people because North Korea's economy has never really flourished, yet they have found a way to produce nuclear weapons and a large scale army. Though it seems like they are well prepared, in reality if they do try anything fishy there would probably be a quick end...
