The movie `Charlotte Gray` was directed by Gillian Armstrong and produced by Sarah Curtis and Douglas Rae and released was in 2002. Actors include Cate Blanchett, Billy Crudup, Michael Gambon and Rupert Penry-Jones. The movie looks into the then Nazi-occupied France at the time that WWII was at its peak and tells of an inspiring story of a young heroine who faced down the Nazis armed with nothing more than courage.

When Charlotte firsts starts to fall in love with a Royal Air Force pilot, Peter Gregory, war cruelly snatches him away from her. Peter gets shot down over France and is presumed dead, this encourages Charlotte to volunteer to go to France and spy on the allies in hope of finding Peter. Charlotte is then given the new name of Dominique and is parachuted into France where she is partnered with Julien Levade who is a communist fighting...
