Abstract

This is a term paper regarding the life of Jerry Spinelli and his dedication to writing about children's literature. In this research, my thesis concerns the ideas of writing about kids not caring about others think of them, along with the idea of kids being themselves. A short biography is inserted in this paper to give precise details of how he became a writer and a further stance about the man's life. Through an analysis of the text and recent articles by various people, support is given to prove Jerry Spinelli's style of writing.
