Summary: A historical biography of Jesus Christ based on the Gospels. Also, a history of early Christianity, including the martydom of the apostles, development of the Nicene Creed, and early Christian theologians.
Jesus. A leader, an enemy, a teacher, a friend, or a father, all of which Jesus was titled. To some he gave hope, while to others he threatened power over the people of Rome, through gaining their trust. Jesus was thought to be a descendent of God, a speaker of the light, or even the Messiah, while to others he was thought of as a mad man, a rebellious force, and a blasphemous liar. Either way you look at it Jesus had a powerful impression from all men and women alike, whether it be just or unfair, and because of the lack of substantial evidence, scientists, historians, and archaeologists, can only speculate on the life and teachings of Jesus.
