Beliefs affect the capacity to reason logically and the capacity to recognize valid arguments. There are many types of beliefs such as faith, religious belief, superstition, tradition and moral belief. Religious belief is most important one from them that affects the capacity to reason logically. When we look to the capacity to recognize valid arguments, we see that general belief affect it. There is no need to specialize beliefs for the capacity to recognize valid arguments.

The most important theme is `religious belief'. Religious belief affects the capacity to reason logically. Logic and religious belief are different things. When you think logically, you can change your mind about your religious belief. For example, it was said that Kur'an (holy book of Muslims) was sent to Muhammed by God.
