Summary: Africa has always been an interesting continent but does it deserve the title of the "dark continent"?
Throughout the years Africa has contained some of the most interesting and unique characteristics. Their fascinating masks and strange rituals all make up a bizarre but special culture and atmosphere. All of these played a major roll in the development of Africa and what it is now. The name that Africa has obtained, the "dark continent", holds many truths on all different levels. And in the reading it is obvious that there are many reasons for the nick-name. It's too bad that the entire continent is in danger of a massive downfall.

On television we see commercials of African children starving to death. The children are sickly and are dying. On top of that they spend the nights in tents that infested with mosquitoes. Mosquitoes that hold deadly diseases that do not discriminate on what age the person they chose to feed on is. The famine has to...
